Bruder Named All-American

University of Idaho junior distance runner Frank Bruder is a third-team selection on the GTE/CoSIDA Academic Men's All-America at large team, the Vandals announced Wednesday.

Bruder was one of six at-large athletes (those in golf, lacrosse, track, tennis and volleyball) honored nationwide at the NCAA Division I level.

The runner from Germany. sixth in the NCAA steeplechase in 1995, is a two-time academic All-Big Sky.
