As you can tell from perusing the posts below, there's not a whole lot of exploring going on these days. Cold weather, short days, and school are keeping us close to home during the winter.

However, the other night we had a chance to go on a Holiday Lights Cruise on Lake Coeur d'Alene. The kids enjoyed sipping hot cocoa as the boat traveled across the lake on its way to "The North Pole," where we saw Santa Claus and his spectacular lights display. My camera isn't the best for night photography, but a few of the images turned out okay...
