Be Happy With What You Have
My daughter was so eager to make a snowman after our first snowfall of the season last week, she didn't mind working with what little material she could find.
She's resourceful, I'll say that.
Luckily we've had a lot more snow over the past few days, and she can now build to her heart's content.

That looks like the snowmen I used to make down south. Except ours were full of twigs, dead grass, and pine needles because we had to roll it all over the whole yard to get enough snow to amount to anything. Then we'd put it in the freezer so we could remember that day forever.

did it snow just in that one place? (joking, but only kind of)
we had a similar experience here. the triplets posed by a snowman that a couple of older neighborhood kids made. pretty cute, but the lack of snow and with all the mud/grass on the snowman? pretty pathetic also.
