Wordless Wednesday

Yes! My son is old enough to mow the lawn by himself.
And that means I finally have some free time...
...to work in the yard on all the other things that need to be done.
The fantasy was that I could just stretch out on the hammock, sipping ice cold lemonade, while my kids weeded, watered, trimmed, and mowed.
I'll keep dreaming.

my oldest has started too. It's nice that for a short while at least he WANTS to do it. I don't delude myself into thinking that it will continue that way.

I ran across your blog today and thought you might be interested in my most recent post, Homeschooling Defense, at www.bedlamorparnassus.blogspot.com.
I shared it with a friend of mine whose wife homeschools, and he appreciated it very much.
Enjoy!

My son is old enough to mow with our reel mower since our back yard is about the size of most folks living rooms.
Cool.
Mine can 'only' fetch beers yet.
I've got my boy throwing away his own diapers...it's a start. :D
