Police On My Block

This is close to the top of the list of things you do not want to see in front of your neighbor's house during the holidays.

I'd go ask, but maybe we're better off not knowing.

Tis the season!

I'd have to ask.

The journalist in me would be outside with a voice recorder and camera.

But I can understand why you'd hang back. If it's big enough, it'll be in the paper tomorrow. If not, do you have a dog? Stuff like this tends to come out while walking the dog, for some reason. It's like an insidious little network of gossip!

We had the same thing happen last year. But we live in a trailer park so I guess it isn't surprising. Had a ambulance and three cop cars.

The guy was dying of brain cancer and started freaking out. I actually felt bad for him because he was a real nice guy.

I'd totally ask. I'd want to know. I'm a nosey person.

You should get a scanner. Then you would know more than you ever wanted to.

Oh, fun. Our neighbors used to have the police over quite a bit. Didn't make it into our town gossip much, but they did finally start tying up their dog most of the time, so it may have only been complaints about the free ranging dog that claimed the town as his own.

This is where my dad would sit around for the rest of the day making up story after story of what could be going on...sometimes he comes up with some very humorous things and other times...my eyes get stuck in a permanent roll!!

Trust me... You ARE better off not knowing.

Unless it is a pedophile or sex offense.

As a 911 dispatcher for 14 years, having heard all the things I have heard - I have some pretty significant trust issues... Most of them unfounded.

Sometimes, ignorance IS bliss...

Seems like you would have known before you called them.
