Foggy Monday

My daughter roams the Pacific Coast beaches of Washington on a misty morning.
My Monday morning feels like this, foggy with a chance of forgetfulness.
All of my ideas and inspirations from the weekend seem to be fading away like a dream upon waking.
My focus returns to school and teaching young minds to be thoughtful of the world around them.
You cannot homeschool in a mental fog.
I wish I drank coffee.

Your photos are consistently fantastic. I can't believe you don't have an SLR
Thanks Dan. I decided some years ago to not get an SLR, mainly for financial reasons, but also because I've become far too comfortable with a camera that I can slip into my pocket.
Some day, when the kids are grown, I'd like to start using higher-end equipment. For now, I'm relatively content with the quality of my point-and-shoot camera's product. It captures the memories.
The excellent SLR I bought a few years back is down to $450 range.
Wow, Phil. You should teach some photography classes! That photo (as usual) is fantastic!
I don't do coffee, either, but the I guess Diet Coke amounts to the same thing.
I'm gonna echo previous comments--that photo is fantastic.
Also, my sympathies on the no coffee thing. It's the only vice I've got left---I couldn't live without it. Really!
Dr pepper is a close second but I HAVE to have my coffee
great pic BTW wish I could shoot like that
