Cool Places

It's going to be 104 degrees today.

So I'll just keep posting pictures of us cooling off in the water until the heat wave breaks.

Here's my daughter playing in Lake Coeur d'Alene, off Corbin Point on Tubbs Hill.

Why buy expensive water toys when the kids are perfectly content rolling around on a log they find on the beach?

Nothing like a cool lake or river to beat the heat.

What is dangerous in the lake? Rips, water life? How clear is the water?

What is dangerous in the lake?

No dangers at all, except for drunk boaters.

There are fish in there, but I've never seen them around while swimming.
