Go, Speed Racer, Go!
Good news for those of you who are looking forward to taking your kids to see Speed Racer when it opens this weekend. Over at Ain't It Cool News, Quint has posted his review of the new movie. Sounds like it's a cool kid-friendly family flick. Here are a few quotes from the review:

I'm glad they're not compromising this kid's story like they can do others. Transformers for example was way too sexed up.
I'm really looking forward to seeing Speed Racer, and thanks for the encouraging preview!
a husband makes a good point, but it was sexed up with Megan Fox, which I'm willing to overlook.
I'm glad to hear that review, I'm on the fence about Speed Racer and that helps.

The Wachowski bros certainly put a lot of effort into making Speed Racer... the movie overall looked and felt like a cross between anime, a kaleidoscope, that Flintstones movie, a video game and the Dukes of Hazard
