The Big Give
I've wholeheartedly embraced the digital age, especially with music. Four years ago I made the decision to rip my 1200 CDs to our computer hard drive. Then I sold most of the CDs on eBay. It could've been a disastrous decision, but it turned out to be a huge success, allowing me to easily access songs and artists that I hadn't heard in years. I fell in love with iTunes and, soon, my first iPod. It's still hard for me to believe that I can carry around the equivalent of some 1500 CDs in my pocket.
So, it's with great excitement that I announce my biggest giveaway ever! Thanks to the good folks at Apple, I have in my hands one brand-new 4GB iPod Nano to give to one of my readers.
All you have to do is leave a comment on this post. Tell me a joke if you want (keep it clean), or just say hi. In two weeks I'll put everyone's name in a hat and pick a winner.
The 4GB iPod Nano is slightly smaller than a credit card, holds over 1,000 songs, and plays both music and video. You'll love it.

Wowwwwww! I've been dying for one of these for like ever. I feel like a geezer for not owning one. It sure would be nice to not worry about scratching up my cd's whilst juggling my toddler to the car :-) Count me in!
I think you and my hubby (fellow vandal)should compare hard drives. He lists nearly 40,000 songs. We love that our boys have been exposed to a wide variety of genre. Right now it is classic hard rock, thanks to Guitar Hero III.

Do you know just how much them ipod things cost over here..... an arm and a leg.....my lads have them but I could never justify spending that sort of money on me....
I have a lovely parcel of moose goodies :)...which is just wonderful..... so, if my name gets picked out, I would like the ipod thingie to go to Toadie..... think how much you would save on the postage :)
The last two little oak leaves sat huddled together at the top of the tree in Autumn, it was blowing a gale, and the tiniest leaf turns to the other and starts to giggle..... I so need one of these, as I lose all my hearing, my doctor says these are all that will help me hear my beloved rock songs and even that, he tells me, will last for only like 6 more months until I can't hear a thing. But what a glorious 6 months that could be.

I don't have an ipod yet. Several weeks ago my husband found one at the gym. He put up signs and it was 3 weeks later before someone identified it correctly and claimed it. As more time passed with no response I began wondering what it would be like to have that one if no one claimed it. It was a nano, less than a month old, and filled with over 1000 of my favorite songs! We called apple to see if they could trace who it belonged to from the serial number, but the owner had not bothered to register it. We were happy the owner was reunited with it, but I was a little bummed not to get to keep it, either.
