Sledding
The kids have been looking forward to sledding since the first bit of cold weather back in October. The day after Christmas, we finally had enough snow on the ground to hit the hills...
The last time we had enough snow to go sledging on Butser Hill was 8 years ago.... you are lucky to have snow every year....... :) looks like you all had a great time....

Looks like fun! AND... gives me the perfect idea of what to do tomorrow. Thanks!
We've got dirt. Can you sled on dirt?
excellent!! where is that awesome hill?? I looked online and all of the area ski hills charge a ton! and only let you sled for 90 minutes.
Katey, that's the Coeur d'Alene Public Golf Course, off Ramsey Road. Great place for sledding, with short and long sled runs. And, best of all, FREE!

Wheeeeeeee!!!
Glad I came here..I have no idea what sledding is before! Oh so much fun..
I know the feeling. We are having a great sledding winter this year for a change.
Make sure you all go down the hill at the same time at least once.
"So much snow in my butt"...
Like we needed to know that.
Idaho looks a lot like Wisconsin...with steeper sledding hills.

Nice run. We've been about four times so far this winter. I just have to keep Lael from eating the "dirty snow."
I so need to come and visit you all in the winter and do that too. Wow it looks like fun!!
Thanks for the tip...we went today. See my blogs for pics. We ended up at Cherry Hill...free and fun as well. thanks again
