Bronze statues again?
How beautiful. The horse and cheetah are my most favourite animals.

Wow,great site! Do you ever answer your bloggers? I have a couple of questions about homeschooling I was hoping you could answer. 1. What curriculum do you recommend? 2. Can you change curriculums if the one you originally picked isn't quite working? 3. Are there any books you could recommend on how to get started?
Loved the Taylor Mali video and the country music for kids idea. Thank you for sharing!

Hi Becky, the curriculum we use is from K12. I'm not the best person to ask about other homeschool programs only because I know very little about them. We're very happy with K12. It offers a lot of flexibility for us to do a few things of our own.

There is one book about homeschooling I can recommend: "The First Year of Homeschooling Your Child" by Linda Dobson.

Also, check out K12.com.

This picture is of "Grandfather Cuts Loose the Ponies," a 200-foot series of life-size charging horses by sculptor David Govedare. The scene symbolically re-creates the Great Spirit turning loose a herd of wild horses above the Columbia River, just outside of Vantage, Washington, along I-90.

Gorgeous sculpture. You can almost hear the thundering of hooves!

I love these horses, I took a photo of them not long ago, but looking up. This is a great shot I haven't seen before.

Seattle, you have to scramble up the steep path beyond the parking lot. It took us about ten minutes with the kids. Going back down was trickier.
