Watching My Figures
My son was looking around my office the other day and he said, "Daddy, I think it's cool that you still collect action figures even though you're really old."
Thanks, I think.
Do any other dads out there still collect action figures?
Here are a few that populate my office shelves:

Nice collection! At various times I've had things like the Yellow Submarine submarine, Opus from Bloom County, Bart Simpson and Superman on my desk, but my girls have invariably grabbed them to play with, which is just as well.
The few things I did have were assimilated into the masses long ago. I did manage to save Boba Fett by converting him into a Christmas ornament.
My Beatles figures, I have about twenty of them, are kept on a very high shelf. The kids haven't figured out a way to climb up there yet.
If you EVER wanna get rid of that moose figure, I'll take it off ya hands :).... ya know how much I LOVE mooses right?...

Nope, but I had a friend at the Times who focused on all-female figures. They populated his work desk..
I had my Simpsons World of Springfield figures at work for quite some time until we moved offices. Now I've just got some Palisades Ren & Stimpy and Invader Zim figures along with some McFarlane Matrix stuff and Where the Wild Things Are.
The kids play with them on the rare occasion that they visit the office.
Thundercats. I still have all them. For some reason, I just really enjoy keeping them
I still have a few Star Wars figures and an X-wing fighter. Like Whit, I've hung them like Christmas ornaments at times too. I have a bunch of other toys that I keep around too.
Paul's office is inhabited by a great number of Star Wars action figures and die cast models of many of the ships from the movies. I think it's cute.
