Weekend Whatnot
Puffball, our hamster, has a new nickname. We're calling her "Lucky Puffball" after my daughter gave her a bath last night. We found the animal after about thirty minutes, wobbling around in her cage, soaked to the skin with hand sanitizer! We figured she'd be dead by morning, but I think all she suffered was a hangover.
Free stuff, how can you resist it? I forgot to mention in my review of the new Hipwaders CD that I have a free copy to give away. Leave a comment if you want it.
My son finished all seven Harry Potter books in three weeks. Now he's reading The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. I never worry about my kids when they have a book in their hands.
Now I have a reason to visit Croatia! But seriously, why didn't Idaho think of this first?
One of my favorite mommy bloggers, BrodH20 is calling it quits. Her posts were always unique and often hilarious. My Google Reader will never be the same.
Child care costs have become so expensive. Thank goodness for outsourcing...

I could definitely use some good kids music...I'm not sure how long my daughter is going to be able to listen to my DJ Shadow or Massive Attack. So far I can only claim TMBG's Flood for somewhat fun childish music. Wait...does that make me a child if I still love that album?
There's really no potato park in Idaho? Is there a potato museum?
Clare has given many stuffed animals baths like Puffball's...so I understand how it could happen.
Poor puffball! LOL
I would LOVE the Hipwaders CD! I went to their site and loved their music...I am seriously trying to be a little more creative with my children's music so I don't get tired of it! :)
Um...born in Idaho, I agree, what's up with no potato park??? DUH?
Also wanted to mention my direct line to poison control with my children (puffball reminded me)...oxyclean, fingernail polish remover...and I cna't remember the other one...I even asked if they keep records!!!
Outsourcing is funny! And poor Puffball..
Put my name in the hat for the CD if it's not too late.
Hmmm...outsourcing child care. I think I need to move to Europe
Oh, that ONN clip was hilarious. (And we do need a new babysitter again.)
Count me in for the Hipwaders giveaway!
