Reading Break
This is how homeschoolers take an afternoon reading break.
Oh my goodness is that your back yard? It looks like a park, it's so beautiful but I think I do recognize it. Thanks for your comment on my blog, I agree with you; I have made my blog public again, got nothing to hide so let him read.
You'll appreciate this, Phil: A friend of mine picked up her son from first grade the other day and found out he got "in trouble" with the teacher for lying down with his head propped up in his hands during story time. Apparently everyone in that class is required to sit with their legs crossed and hands on their knees. What a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere for the little ones!
And I agree with Hann...your backyard is gorgeous! So very jealous...
Niiiice! That reminds me of glorious afternoons "reading" on the front lawn in college, laying on a blanket with the sounds of pickup volleyball games and strolling couples buzzing in the background. I usually brought my books out but rarely ever cracked one open, succumbing instead to the heady mixture of warm air, slight breeze, and midafternoon sun inviting me to nap.

Nice picture! That looks like a nice afternoon. My daughter likes to climb a tree to read.

Great photo!
Books bring sleep to my eyes. What a perfect spot to take a snooze.
Phil, the yard turned out great.
