I don't know about you, but I'm getting tired of living in a world where people like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Nicole Richie dominate the popular culture.
When my kids ask me why those women are on the covers of all the magazines at the grocery store, I have no answer.
The only words that come to mind are: sad, pathetic, and pointless.

Supermarket tabloid trash is one thing...
The fact that they dominate the nightly news is even more frightening and disturbing to me!
The nice thing about grocery stores like Whole Foods and Trader Joe's: No trashy tabloids.
You could always tell your kids, "They are good reminders of how not to behave."
I agree so much with you ... and Kristen, same here we hate this thing going on as if we want to hear about their scandals and jail terms. I refuse to listen and even sometimes press mute on the remote control until better stuff comes up!
I agree. They are sad, pathetic, and completely incapable of standing on their own 2 feet. Sick, just plain sick.
