I heard my first "I'm bored" yesterday from the kids.
I reminded them that the summer is half over and they better get busy enjoying it.

My son is always complaining of being bored. So I bought him a few workbooks, which keeps him busy during the slow moments.
Our school only broke up yesterday 11-16 y.olds) and today (4-11 y.olds) - so our summer holidays have only just started..... the kids get 5 1/2 weeks off starting TODAY :)..... just need some summer weather now, we have had the worst june and july in living history......
