Hide and Shriek
My kids invented a new game tonight, where they each hide somewhere and then start shrieking at the top of their lungs. After a few minutes of ear-piercing sounds, they run around the house, find a new hiding place, and start the noise festival again.
I think they misunderstood when my wife told them, "You need to help Daddy get his voice back."

Hey, that game must be getting popular... my girls play it, too. There is no shriek quite like the shriek of 4 and 2 year-old girls. :o)
There's something similar going on here too....only I've nicknamed it Hide & Howl because the kiddos howl like dogs.
That is hilarious! Love it! My kids like to have their daddy hide and they try to find him and then he scares them...they jump and scream and laugh...it has been the funniest when he hides under the laundry pile and scared them when he came up looking like the clothes monster...I laughed till I cried! :)
It's in situations like this that I am grateful for our sound-proofed basement :)
Oh my. Don't give my kids any ideas.
