Fly Like An Eagle
Last Friday we went on an eagle watching cruise on Lake Coeur d'Alene with my son's homeschool group.
From mid-November to mid-January, upwards of 150 bald eagles settle into our area to feed on the lake's spawned kokanee salmon. During our hour on the water, we counted at least 40 bald eagles along the water's edge.
What an awesome sight these birds are... Makes me wish I had a better camera than my simple point-and-shoot. Still, I managed to get a couple of good shots.
My son loved this excursion. Sure beats sitting in a classroom!

Now this sounds truly amazing to see and do. Whow, I love the photo's Phil, they are great the middle one is my favorite!

Hubby and youngest were out on the eagle cruise on friday too. They were amazed by how many eagles were bathing, not something we usually get to see them do. I am sorry I missed it. I will head out this week during the day to get my "eagle" fix.
As usual, fantastic pictures. I wish I could have had your help today when I was trying to get my kids to pose for their annual Christmas picture. What a nightmare. I can't take a photo to save my life.
Now that's what I call education.
