Girl in the Wheat

My daughter, walking through the stubble of a North Idaho wheat field. This picture reminds me of an Andrew Wyeth painting.

Fantastic pic. Seeing this makes me miss the corn fields in illinois. Studied at UIUC as an exchange student way back in Year 2000. The stars are right in your face at night. We don't have such open space in Singapore, the things city kids miss. Darn.

What's that in her hand? Christmas tinsel? Don't get the stockings ripped. LOL-mum attitude I have.

Beautiful picture, Phil. I immediately thought of Wyeth when I saw it, too- all it needs is an old farmhouse in the background. Just stunning!
