Cuteness Overload

All together now... "Ahhhh, how cuuuuuute!" Yeah, that's what my kids said when they saw these little guys at the Latah County Fair in Moscow last weekend. No, we're not getting a duckling as a new pet. The picture will have to suffice.

Actually, my son wants to get a tadpole to raise as a science project. Are frogs cute?

The roles are changed here, wasn't the ugly duckling ONE ugly duckling. Here the one singled out one is the pretty cute one and the others look all fluffy and brown ... or how ever the song goes?
Just being silly, they are gorgeous, can't help out on the frog idea!
Moscow???

The summer I saw my first ever tadpole in the envrionment. It was at my inlaws' lake house, in a shallow part of the lake (aka the kiddie area). I got to see some of the tiniest frogs I have ever seen and yes, they were so cute! Fuller (who is almost 2) loved them as well. I think it would be a great science project.

Wow, great picture! And frogs are cute, though decidedly less cuddly. And more prone to escape and terrorize your wife by camping out in the toilet.

yes, tadpoles are VERY cute, and they don't require nearly as much care as a duckling. On the other hand, the duck does present the possibility of a nice meal, which, unless you're into frogs' legs, the tadpole does not... (sorry, I just couldn't resist :-)

PS salamandar tadpoles are VERY cool, if you can manage to find them.

I vote for tadpoles ... then a big 'ol frogleg fry! You could cover science and cooking with one lesson :)

Is your son going to raise the the frog in order to dissect it ("science project")? :)
