You Spin Me Round
That's my son up there at the tippy-top of this big round spinning contraption at the amusement park. He had to ride it alone, as the last time I went on it with him it took me ten minutes to recover my senses. There's something about watching your child being spun madly around on a huge mechanical monster that is sort of disorienting in its own way.

Brave boy! Did he pretend to have a sword and acted some movie scenes out..some recently seen movie?
Actually, he has done that at home, with this inflatable Pirates sword that came in a McDonald's Happy Meal. It's a nice break from his usual Star Wars blasting!
Wow! He has some guts to go on that thing!
Wow, great shot! C'mon, you mean you didn't want to scramble your brains (and inner ear) on that thing too? *grin*
As a boy, I had little desire to do those kind of rides.
My son loves scary rides, and I get to go on them with him. I do have my limits though, and that ride looks like it is beyond them. I'm still traumatized from the time I was stuck at the top of a ferris wheel at the age of 5 without my mom...
Wow, I can't believe he went on that thing. I would never had done that as a child- I had too keen an interest in self-preservation, which of course made me no fun at all. I have since loosened up, thankfully...
