Will The Wolf Survive?
Today we visited with Bill Taylor and Mohawk, his 11-week-old wolf puppy. Bill runs Wolf People, a wolf education facility dedicated to bringing wolves back to the wild.
Mohawk was a little cutie, and very friendly... except when he tried to eat my camera.

I certainly hope so, aren't they just beautifull? Do they release them back in the wild?
It certainly looks like a very informative trip you guys had.
There was a full-grown wolf on my college campus. A professor's daughter was a vet, found a pup, and nursed it back to health. For whatever reason, he couldn't be released into the wild.
The professor kept it in his office during the day, and would walk it around campus. I'd never seen a wolf before. Looked more like a bear.
Wolves are big.
Did you check out the Buffalo farm near Careywood, too? We missed the wolves, but the kids were impressed by the Buffalo. The Boo said he wanted to eat one.
You go to ALL the best places.
They are wonderful people. I've been there as well. I can't wait till my best friend gets up here so I can take here there. She has been into wolves all of her life.
It looks like I need to go visit Wolf People again. That wolf puppy looks quite a bit like my dog.
Driving to and from CDA everyday for cancer treatments we passed the Wolf People as one of our markers to end our drive. During our last treatment we stopped in and my mother and two young sons loved them! Very nice and intresting folks.
I was at the Wolf People place right after that cub was born, it was maybe 1 week or 2 old. It's was very sickly and nearly hairless, except for the Mohawk. Good to see it making progress. That is a very cool place.
