How To Keep The Wife Unimpressed:
Me: "Hey honey, last week one of my photos was Image of the Day over at Blogging Baby!"
She: "How much did they pay you?"
Me: "Umm... Nothing."
She: "Uh-huh."
Me: "Hey honey, look at this! Today another one of my photos is the Featured Image at the New West online magazine!"
She: "And how much does that one pay?"
Me: "Oh. Ummm... Nothing."
Me: "Hey honey, last week one of my photos was Image of the Day over at Blogging Baby!"

Nice photos Phil! I put mine on the MacDonalds Contest -- you should enter. Tell a story about being a Dad. You might get a trip to London!
I think it's impressive though! That reminds me of my husband. If I win a little writing contest, get a little writing job, nothing interests him until I'm making money. :)
Either you're overly modest or not trying hard enough. As someone who has always enjoyed photography at an extremely amateur level, I find your photos to be absolutely spectacular. You really should do more with your photos.
In fact, I lost some of my interest in photography after seeing what you are able to do on a consistent basis and I realized I don't think I would be able to get so many outstanding photos ...
