Big Lake, Little Kayak

My wife and son, exploring Lake Coeur d'Alene last summer.

The Pacific Northwest's record-breaking wet season continues. I'm hearing that Winnie-the-Pooh song in my head constantly now: The rain rain rain came down down down in rushing, rising rivlets

I can feel spring out there somewhere, waiting to break through the gloomy weather.

In the meantime, we're dreaming of warm days on the lake...

I like that Irish Fisherman's Prayer.

Oh.. to go to the lake. I think I'll make a point to do that soon. I miss it.

I bet Cali's awesome in early spring but mid summer there is no better place to be than on a north idaho lake in a kayak. I should post some kayak kam pics just to get my mind workin' to summer again..
