Delurking Week
I'm always late to the party. Actually, I never get invited, but that's not my point. I've just learned that this week was supposed to be some sort of National Delurking Week when blog readers come out of the shadows and leave comments on the blogs they read.Close to 200 people come by this blog every day, so that's a lot of you who don't comment. Here's your chance. Depending on how you view the calendar, the week either ends today or sometime this weekend. Plenty of time to leave a comment right here. Do it anonymously if you'd like! Let me know you're out there.

The question is, what consitutes lurking? Never commenting? Less than once per week?
Or is it a subjective designation determined by the alleged lurker?
Hmm. There's a reason I lurk.
My reason for lurking on so many mom and dad blogs is that I usually do my reading late at night and I'm so mentally exhausted that my comments probably wouldn't make much sense. So I read a lot of blog posts, but don't always comment even when I have something to say.
I don't lurk much. Don't have time. I read my favorites and occassionally explore new ones. If I like them, I start commenting sooner or later.
I find myself lurking occasionally. I'm glad I came across yours...it's worth reading!

ah well.. i guess since i'm bothering to comment, just want to say "keep on truckin"... us stay at home types don't get enough respect.
I seldom lurk - just stand in the corner watching until it's time to open my big mouth.

I've posted a few times before, but I'm probably classified as 'lurker'. I don't have much to add to the conversation... unless you want me to talk about cheese-spinach and rubber-duckies!
Delurking, as requested. I'm one of the few other local-to-Cd'A bloggers. I stop by every couple days, when I get around to it. Not a parent yet, but I did get married last year.
Well, I'm about a week late for National Delurking Week, but still inspired enough to write in for the first time. I'm a stay at home mom who has been reading your blog for about a year now--I don't lurk around any others. I think you are a great dad who does the best for his kids. My husband would love to trade places with me--and he would do a great job too, but we would starve on my non-profit salary. I will keep on reading, but probably won't comment, sorry. But keep up the good work and know there are others like you out there...
