A Girl Runs Through It
My 4-year-old daughter was running around and around the kitchen island while I was cooking dinner tonight. After the tenth circle, I reached out and grabbed her, lifted her high and asked, "What in the world are you doing?!"
She replied in an exasperated tone: "I'm exercising... Put me down, you're making me fat!"

My little doggie races around and around the couch, I just thought she was crazy, maybe she's exercising.
Seth started expressing concern about his weight after Lael was born. We think it was because mom and dad talked about losing pregnancy weight. We had to make sure conversations in the future were not around him.
I have to watch it my oldest talks about excercising and what is healthy to eat. They pick up on it all quick. A little knowledge of healthy eating I think is good for them to know, but not to the point they think they have to worry about being fat.
