Cow Tunes
This CD was released five years ago, but we just recently discovered Brent Holmes' Cow Tunes For Kids disc. My kids took to it right away, and I have to admit that it's extremely inventive and catchy. The songs have a simple style and uncluttered production that make it easy on young ears. And who can resist a whole collection of songs about cows and ice cream?

I played the ice cream one for my kids today and it was a real hit. They made me play it again and again and my son spent the rest of the day repeating "Cowmany scoops?" He thought that was hilarious. Going to have to get the CD.

Sorry, Phil; I don't know any songs about cows and Ice Cream...I read your feedback post; the "older gentleman" playing guitar...well, I am 51, but I have people tell me I don't look "it"...so maybe I was one of those young guys you saw, ha ha. I usually esconce myself at a picnic table while I try to work out chord progressions. It can be maddening sometimes.
