Monkey in the Middle

I'm a newcomer to Coeur d'Alene, having been here just over a year. This blog is written through rather innocent eyes and I still have not figured out all of the political and social quirks of this area. When we first moved here a friend used the term "Coeur Duane" which confused me for many weeks until I learned about the Hagadone influence. Although I find it all very interesting, I'm not sure I have the time or inclination to put the pieces together for myself. I'm just glad there are people who do worry about issues such as the library and the community center. I'll leave it to them to fight it out for what they think is best. When the dust clears, I will accept the outcome. The only thing I worry about right now is raising my children to be respectful, law-abiding, healthy, intelligent and happy people. Don't you wish more parents did that?
